Serena Product Support

Our experience with installing Dimensions in a variety of customer environments enables Lovell & Mercier to provide the four key levels of support available to maximize Dimensions' value to your organization. We are able to support all versions of Dimensions CM up to and including Dimensions CM 2009 R2.

Installation: The baseline software is installed following Serena's installation procedures combined with Lovell & Mercier's lessons learned from past installations.

Upgrade: The staff of Lovell & Mercier has extensive experience upgrading from all versions of Dimensions CM on all suppoprted platforms.

Support: We have staff available to provide Dimensions CM and Dimensions RM support. We provide "flexible" support (ie. the right person at the right time), adapting to clients changing needs.

Enhancements: The value of Lovell & Mercier's knowledge of Dimensions is our ability to tailor Serena's Dimensions capabilities to our client's specific needs.

Conversion: The staff of Lovell & Mercier has extensive experience migrating data from other tools into the Dimensions environment.

Interfaces: Lovell & Mercier's expertise with using 3rd party Dimensions interfaces, as well as designing custom interfaces, allows our clients to maximize their investment in Integrated Development Environment tools and packages.

Lovell & Mercier, Inc. (L&M) has extensive experience in developing custom interfaces that help leverage the customers Dimensions Administration and Dimensions Users staff. Using a variety of programming languages, and the Dimensions ìOut-Of-The-Boxî APIs and CLIs,

For one client, L&M developed a custom interface that completely automated their internal Change Control Board (CCB) process, from submission, through electronic approval, to automated Release Management.

For another client L&M developed a custom interface that allowed them to develop product control plans in a development/test environment and replicate them into their production Dimensions environment with no intervention.

For another client L&M developed a Dimensions CM Helpdesk capability, allowing two Dimensions Support Specialists to do the work of what previously took five Dimensions Support Specialists.
