"An Introduction to the Dimensions CM Email Templating Language"
Dimensions CM is a robust Change/Configuration Management tool that is available on a wide range of platforms. "Out-of-the-Box" email functionality has been available with Dimensions for many years; however that functionality has been significantly enhanced with the release of Dimensions CM Version 10. With this enhancement came a set of notification templates and a new Dimensions CM scripting language - the Dimensions CM Email Templating Language. The seminar will be presented using the latest release of Dimensions, Dimensions 2009 R2.
This seminar will introduce attendees to the Serena Dimensions CM Email Templating Language. The seminar is targeted to Dimensions System Administrators, but anyone that uses or supports Serena Dimensions CM will find it valuable.
You will walk away from the Seminar with: A) an understanding of the Dimensions CM Templating Language, B) knowledge of how to use the Dimensions Templating Language to develop customized Email templates, C) how to target email using Email Notifications, Email Subscriptions, and a "special" batch module developed by Lovell, and D) for those attending the seminar in person, a CD containing examples of all of the capabilities demonstrated at the seminar. In addition, the CD will contain PowerPoint presentation of an Automated Change Control Board Accellerator that was developed by Lovell & Mercier using Dimensions CM and the DMCLI scripting language.
